Post a recording in the comment box of an assignment?

Feature Request

I have situations where a student asks me a question on their assignment that I could answer easily with a video that I have already made that addresses their question. However, in Canvas, there is no Medial icon to do this in the Comment box of the assignment. This is the box under the rubric in Speedgrader. Is this possible to add?

Lisa, yes we are aware of this but at this time it’s a limitation of Canvas as they do not give us a full rich text editor to add a placement to in the SpeedGrader. I don’t think there is a solution as a result of this as we need some means of launching MEDIAL. Sorry 😕
